Hello and welcome. I’m Ross Wilson, a Wedding Photographer based in Leeds
My greatest passion is wedding photography. The buzz of meeting new people, hearing their stories, and being a part of their special day is second to none; capturing moments that will last a lifetime. I love the planning of the day from the bride nervously getting ready, applying the finishing touches to hair and makeup. The wedding car arriving at the venue, seeing all the excited faces light up upon the car's approach. Then on to the ceremony where the happy couple is set to exchange vows whilst lighting up the room with anticipation and excitement.
As a wedding photographer, there is a structure I have learned works well but can be adapted to suit my clients. This is inclusive of but not set to the following;
Getting ready shots, wedding transport photos, and ceremony images. Followed by a location shoot of the client’s choice in the surrounding area to create the centerpiece of the album. This makes for a relaxed environment where we can bring in friends, capturing the excitement and atmosphere of the day. As the wedding party sits to eat and enjoy a toast to the happy couple, I plan the images I will take of the speeches, sometimes adding video to capture the stories from the best man and groomsmen. The day is now a more relaxed affair as I wander through the venue photographing day events as they unfold. A more candid, natural style of photography, followed by some more formal photographs with the cutting of the cake and finally the first dance.

Am I the right wedding photographer for you?
Does my style and approach match you and partners?
Is your wedding date available?
Then a deposit will secure your date, it’s that simple.
Secondly, Plan, Discuss,
We will meet 4 weeks before the wedding to discuss your big day. The 4 week window is an excellent time frame as all other arrangements will have fallen into place. We can have a friendly chat about your day and what you need from me. Whether it be formal poses or casual photographs from a distance, out of the way.
Also, I love to hear your story, how you met and the people in your life that will be captured on the day.
We can discuss your family and friends who are important to you. We’ll work through a list of images that you require to be captured on the day that will hold a place in your album forever.
Thirdly, You Can Relax,
Knowing that the photography is taken care of, I know where to be, as we’ve planned out your special day from start to finish.
After the wedding, I work on your images, giving them a full edit in colour and also a black and white touch.
